Papiamento Restaurant is a family business started in 1983 by Eduardo and Lenie Ellis, first in downtown Oranjestad before moving to the family's historic cunucu house in Noord. Dinner is served outdoors in a lush garden around a lit pool, next to the house, which is filled with European antiques. The property also has a wine vault and Pappa's Cigar Lounge. Reservations are by telephone only, and the dress code is elegantly casual.
