Natural Pool (Conchi)

The Natural Pool, also known as Conchi (bowl) or Cura di Tortuga, is a small pool encircled by volcanic rock on a remote stretch of coast inside Arikok National Park, where waves regularly spray over the rocks. It is reached on foot, on horseback or by 4x4; the tourism board says it is inaccessible by regular car and suggests inexperienced drivers join a jeep safari. Snacks and drinks are sold during the day at the top of the stairs down to the pool.
