Flying Fishbone

Beachfront restaurant in Savaneta serving seafood and steak at tables set in the sand, open since 1997.

About

Flying Fishbone is a toes-in-the-sand restaurant on a small bay in Savaneta, about 20 minutes' drive from Oranjestad. Opened in 1997, it says it was the first Aruban restaurant to popularize on-the-beach dining. The menu pairs European cuisine with Caribbean flair, focused on fresh seafood and steak; its dish 'Savaneta's Seafood History' has been on the menu since opening. The same owners operate Coral Reef Beach Apartments next door.
